マタイによる福音書13章3章～９章の御言葉
心の畑についての教え
「イエスは譬で多くの事を語り、こう言われた、『見よ、種まきが種をまきに出て行った。まいているうちに、道ばたに落ちた種があった。すると、鳥がきて食べてしまった。ほかの種は土の薄い石地に落ちた。そこは土が深くないので、すぐ芽を出したが、日が上ると焼けて、根がないために枯れてしまった。ほかの種はいばらの地に落ちた。すると、いばらが伸びて、ふさいでしまった。ほかの種は良い地に落ちて実を結び、あるものは百倍、あるものは六十倍、あるものは三十倍にもなった。耳のある者は聞くがよい』。」
人の心は四種類の心の畑に喩えられ、良いアドバイスや言葉でも受け止め方がそれぞれ異なるもの、ということを教えてくれています。
主は「御言葉は同じく落ちる。御言葉が問題ではなく、心の畑が問題だ」とおっしゃいました。人間は誰でも心が問題です。肉体の見た目がいいか悪いかが問題ではありません。心が素敵でなければなりません。「心」によって天国に行くのか、地獄に行くのかが決まります。
自分にとって有益になる言葉も、心の状態次第では受け止められたり、拒絶したりするものだから、いつでも心を肥沃な畑のように耕してより良く生きていきたいものです。

Teaching from Matthew 13:3–9 — The Parable of the Heart’s Field
Jesus spoke many things in parables, saying:
“Behold, a sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where there wasn’t much soil. They sprang up quickly, but because the soil was shallow, they were scorched by the sun and withered away, having no root. Still others fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. But some seeds fell on good soil and produced a crop—some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear.”
This parable teaches us that the human heart can be likened to four types of soil. Even good advice or uplifting words are received differently depending on the condition of one’s heart.
The Lord said, “The Word falls the same way. The problem is not the Word—it’s the soil of the heart.”
What matters is not our outward appearance, but the state of our heart. It is the heart that determines whether we enter heaven or fall into hell.
Even words that could benefit us may be accepted or rejected depending on the condition of our heart. That’s why I want to keep cultivating my heart like fertile soil—so I can live better and receive what is good.
