どうやら霊界は１つではなく、何千・何万もの層に分かれた広大な世界なのだそうだ。さらに、霊界は、地上での生き方によって行き先も栄光も決まる世界だという。神様との関係を深め、御言葉に従って愛と正しさをもって生きることで、より高い次元の霊界に導かれるから、今の地上での生活は、永遠の霊界での住まいを準備する大切な時間なのだそうだ。
エレミヤ書30章18〜19節
「主はこう仰せられる、見よ、わたしはヤコブの天幕を再び栄えさせ、そのすまいにあわれみを施す。町は、その丘に建てなおされ、宮殿はもと立っていた所に立つ。感謝の歌と喜ぶ者の声とが、その中から出る。わたしが彼らを増すゆえ、彼らは少なくはなく、また彼らを尊ばれしめるゆえ、卑しめられることはない。」
この聖句は、霊界における様々な住まいと栄えについて述べており、千層万層の霊界構造を示唆している。
箴言6章10〜11節
「しばらく眠り、しばらくまどろみ、手をこまぬいて、またしばらく休む。それゆえ、貧しさは盗びとのようにあなたに来り、乏しさは、つわもののようにあなたに来る。」
この御言葉は、地上での怠惰な生き方が霊的な貧しさをもたらすことを教えている。
エレミヤ書30章23〜24節
「見よ、主の暴風がくる。憤りと、つむじ風が出て、悪人のこうべをうつ。主の激しい怒りは、み心に思い定められたことを行って、これを遂げるまで、退くことはない。末の日にあなたがたはこれを悟るのである。」
この聖句は、今は見えないが確実に来る霊的な現実について教えており、私たちが霊界の千層万層の構造を理解し、それに備えるべきことを示唆している。
目に見えるものだけを意識し考えがちだが、目に見えないものや世界についても感じ、考えられるのも人間だからこそできることだから、日々の追われるような生活の中で、少しでも意識しながら生きていきたい。
伝道の書３章１１節
「神のなされることは皆その時にかなって美しい。神はまた人の心に永遠を思う思いを授けられた。それでもなお、人は神のなされるわざを初めから終りまで見きわめることはできない。」
It is said that the spiritual realm is not a single place, but a vast and multilayered world—divided into thousands, even tens of thousands of levels. Moreover, one’s destination and glory in that realm are determined by how one lives on earth.
By deepening our relationship with God and living with love and righteousness in accordance with His Word, we are guided to higher dimensions of the spiritual realm. That’s why our time on earth is precious—it is the season in which we prepare our eternal dwelling in the world beyond.
“This is what the Lord says:
‘Behold, I will restore the fortunes of Jacob’s tents and have compassion on his dwellings.
The city will be rebuilt on its hill, and the palace will stand in its rightful place.
From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing.
I will increase their numbers, and they will not be diminished;
I will honor them, and they will not be despised.’” — Jeremiah 30:18–19
This passage speaks of restoration, compassion, and divine glory. It also hints at the existence of various dwellings and levels of honor within the spiritual realm. The rebuilding of the city and palace, the increase in numbers, and the emergence of praise all suggest a structured and layered spiritual world—one of countless dimensions, where each soul’s dwelling reflects their journey and relationship with God.
“A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
and poverty will come on you like a thief,
and scarcity like an armed man.” — Proverbs 6:10–11
This verse offers more than a caution against physical laziness—it reveals a spiritual truth. A life of idleness and complacency on earth leads to spiritual poverty in the world beyond. Just as material lack creeps in unnoticed, so too does the loss of spiritual vitality when one neglects to live with purpose, discipline, and devotion. In the layered realms of the spirit, such negligence may result in dwelling in lower dimensions, far from the glory prepared for those who walk faithfully.
“Behold, the storm of the Lord will burst forth with fury,
a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.
The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back
until He fully accomplishes the purposes of His heart.
In the days to come, you will understand this.” — Jeremiah 30:23–24
This passage reveals a profound truth: though invisible now, the spiritual reality is certain and approaching. The storm symbolizes divine judgment and the fulfillment of God’s will—unstoppable and precise. It urges us to awaken to the layered structure of the spiritual realm, with its countless dimensions, and to prepare ourselves accordingly. Understanding will come in the “days to come,” but wisdom calls us to live now with reverence, readiness, and alignment with God’s heart.
Though we often focus only on what is visible, it is uniquely human to sense and contemplate the unseen—the eternal, the spiritual, the divine. In the midst of our busy, hurried lives, we are invited to pause and become aware of the invisible realities that surround us. God has placed eternity within our hearts, a quiet longing that reminds us we are part of something far greater than what meets the eye. Even if we cannot grasp the full scope of His work, we can live with reverence, wonder, and a heart attuned to the eternal.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the human heart;
yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11
